2010 Annual Chamber Banquet

The annual Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held Tuesday, October 26, 6:00 pm at the Austin Marriott North at Round Rock. This special event will recognize retiring board members, new members and officers.  The Banquet also gives numerous awards to honor local members and businesses.

The Awards: Small Business of the Year, Business of the Year, New Member of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Philanthropist Award, Innovation in Philanthropy Award, Member of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Citizen of the Year.

Nomination Criteria

Small Business of the Year
This Chamber Member awardee will have 20 employees or less and a will have been a member for at least 12 months. This award is based on their involvement in the community and the Chamber and their financial and volunteer support of the same. The business is deemed to have made an impact on the local economy through job growth, sales tax revenue, etc.  

Business of the Year
This Chamber Member awardee will have 20 employees or more and will have been a member for at least 12 months. This award is based on their involvement in the community and the Chamber and their financial and volunteer support of the same. The business is deemed to have made an impact on the local economy through job growth, sales tax revenue, etc.  

Member of the Year (Individual)
This individual must be a current investor in good standing. The award is based on their involvement in the Chamber’s programs and events through financial and/or volunteer support. This member is an active advocate of the Chamber.  

Lifetime Achievement
The one person who has continually, over a minimum of 10 years most exemplified the qualities of leadership, character, family life, religious activities and service to the Round Rock Community and to fellow man. May not be awarded every year.  

Citizen of the Year
The one person who has most exemplified the qualities of leadership, character, family life, religious activities and service and whose civic contributions have resulted in recent or current impact to the Round Rock community.
