In the past, the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce has conducted a 3-day phone bank membership drive to obtain new members for the Chamber. After conducting several of these drives, we have determined that this is not the best method of growing our membership. Utilizing our current members to help us obtain new business members is a method that works, but not necessarily in a phone bank drive setting. So, we would like to get our Chamber members to help us grow our membership in a more simple, personal and informational manner. All of our members know someone in business that can benefit from Chamber membership. We would like you as a current Round Rock Chamber member to make that contact for us.

We would ask that you utilize the membership packet that we have put together that tells about Chamber membership and the benefits and value of being a part of this business organization. We ask that you make the contact in person and present the information to the prospective new member and share with them the benefits you have received by being a member of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. Get the prospective member to complete the membership application, obtain either a check or credit card, and return the information to the Chamber office. The staff will take it from there.

Here's How it Works:

• To make this a bit more appealing to you, we will give you an American Express gift card equal to 10% of the total new first year business membership for your efforts.
  
• So, if you obtain a $250 member, you will receive a $25 gift card, a $50 card for a $400 member, a $100 card for a $1,000 member, $250 card for a $2,500 member and a $500 card for a $5,000 member. 
  
• The card will be sent to you and you may use it however you wish. This will not be limited to just one member, we will give you a card for every paid new membership returned to the office, however; we would like all members to participate in getting at least one new member.
  

Just think, we currently have 926 members and if every member got just one new member, we could double our membership to 1852 in one year! We like to call this program Member².
