Alliance of Texans Building Businesses - Passion, Plan, Perform
WEC is a community of people who want to build successful local businesses that will create more local jobs. If you want to invest in your local economy, come join us.
Provide a community of learning, discussion, collaboration, support and talent for entrepreneurs starting and growing businesses. Allowing local entrepreneurs to improve, clarify and realize their business dreams and goals while helping their neighbors. Which will encourage local economic development that creates stable, local jobs.
WEC was founded in September of 2009. The first phase was the creation of the Wilco Entrepreneurs Network (WEN). WEN is the grassroots meetings for people who want to learn more about starting a business, entrepreneurs operating a business, and seasoned entrepreneurs who want to mentor others. If you’re interested in entrepreneurship at any level please checkout our web site for more details and join our mailing list to stay informed. WEC offers curriculum and co-funding for a rapid launch program and an accelerator program. The Wilco Angel Network (WAN) will be the initial equity funding arm of WEC.
We have already started the community, but there is still a large amount of work and funding still to be done to make it a viable support system for Williamson County. Join in to stay informed and find out how you can help.
